This Cookie Policy explains how POPOMEE (the “Site”) uses cookies and other browser-storage features in connection with the content and services it provides. Please also review the Privacy Policy for information about how user information is handled.
1. Cookies and Browser Storage
Cookies are pieces of information stored in your browser when you visit a website. The Site uses cookies to remember the display language and the status of the cookie notice and to provide basic site functions.
Some web applications on the Site also use browser features other than cookies to store settings on the user’s device.
2. Cookies Used by the Site
| Cookie name | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
pll_language |
Remembers the display language | 365 days |
acc_cookie_consent |
Remembers the cookie-notice status, applicable policy version, and operating mode | 365 days |
acc_consent_id |
Stores a random ID used to associate cookie-notice confirmation records from the same browser | 365 days |
Each retention period begins when the cookie is issued or updated. If you delete a cookie through your browser, it may be removed before that period expires.
3. Browser Storage Used by Web Applications
| Storage key | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
popomee.collab-calendar.preferences.v1 |
Remembers the selected region, whether online events are shown, hidden items, favorite campaigns, and the selected schedules and line numbers for calendar period displays | Until the user clears the settings through the application or deletes browser site data |
popomee.sound-garden.preferences.v1 |
Remembers Sound Garden volume, mute, timing offset, difficulty, reduced-motion preferences, and personal bests for each stage and difficulty | Until removed in the game or by clearing browser site data |
These settings and records are stored only in the user’s browser and are not sent to the Site’s server.
4. Cookie-Notice Confirmation Records
When you select “Got it” on the cookie notice, the Site records the fact that the notice was acknowledged, a random confirmation ID used to associate confirmations from the same browser, the versions of the policy and notice presented, the type of action, the display language, and the date and time. To associate the notice content with the confirmation action, these records are retained for 24 months and progressively deleted after that period.
The Site does not currently use optional cookies selected by the user, so the cookie banner does not ask you to allow or reject optional cookies.
5. Deleting Cookies
In the collaboration calendar, you can remove a favorite using its star button and turn off its period display by clearing its checkbox in the favorites list. You can restore hidden campaigns using the restore control and clear region selections using the filter-reset control.
You can reject or delete cookies and browser-stored data through your browser settings. If you reject or delete cookies, the display language or cookie-notice status may no longer be remembered, and the notice may appear again.
Deleting cookies from your browser does not delete confirmation records that have already been stored on the Site’s server. Server-side confirmation records are deleted in accordance with the retention period described above.
6. Changes to This Policy
The Site may revise this Policy in response to changes in the cookies or browser-storage features it uses, the Site’s services, or applicable law. The Site will provide clear notice of material changes and will request a new choice or consent where required by law.
