Clay Beat is a free browser game where you shoot clay targets in time with an original track. Listen for the launch cue, then tap two beats later. Each run lasts about 69 seconds, with no installation or account required on smartphones and computers.

How to play
- Choose a difficulty and select “Start game.”
- Listen for the cue when a clay target launches.
- Tap the screen or press Space two beats after the cue.
- Your timing is rated Perfect, Good or Miss.
Rings help you learn the timing for the first four clays. From the ninth clay onward, the rings disappear, so listening for beats and rests becomes more important than following the targets with your eyes.
Three difficulty levels
- Easy: Mostly downbeats for learning the basic rhythm.
- Normal: Adds offbeats and rests that require closer listening.
- Hard: Includes short rapid sequences for a more focused challenge.
Original track: Blue Hour
The game uses Blue Hour, an original 114 BPM track. It blends funk and electro across approximately 69 seconds. You can also preview the track and save the M4A file from the game page.
Before you play
- Check your device volume because the game relies on sound.
- Bluetooth devices may add audio latency. An input timing calibration setting is available in the game.
- Settings and scores are not saved and reset when the page is reloaded.
- The game requires no account, payment or data transmission to third-party services.
